MaMa!!!

Madelayne finally said MAMA yesterday! It completely melted my HEART to PIECES! She is such a blessing from GOD. She has been full of herself all evening playing and laughing with her Mimi and Papaw. We are so blessed to have such amazing people in our lives. She is still going backwards in her walker and still trying hard to get on them knees and crawl. We are still waiting for a tooth to break through. This teething mess is hurting my sweet baby, I wish I could just pull it through for her! I finally have a day off tomorrow... I think we may work on a few things for our "SUPRISE" that I will reveal soon. And maybe clean and organize her closet again. Maddy is sound asleep, sleeping so peacefully. I am a bit jealous :) Guess i'll try to get some rest too. Be sure to check back daily to see what new things Madelayne has done!! :)

Happy Tuesday!

Well, today I woke up feeling alot better than I felt last night. Although I did stay up coughing all night. Madelayne and I did some shopping today. She got her FIRST and it wont be her last pair of TOMS! One for one! We also went to Kelly Kids and got lots of cute new little outfits! They have some super  cute stuff in the store. We also recieved some eager news... i'll share about that a little later on though!! :) Tonight I cooked home-made chicken and dumplin's from my Nana's reciepe and for my first time they were definitely a success!! All in all today was a good day, cant complain about it except for this vicous cough that wont go away. Prayers this passes soon, im entirely too busy to be sick! Hope everyone has a good night.

My first pageant dress!

Last night I was cleaning out Madelayne's closet (for the 2nd time this month) and saw my old pageant dresses. So I decided to play dress up with Madelayne. I put my very first pageant dress on her! I showed Madelayne to her Mimi and her Mimi started tearing up. It was so weird for Mimi & Papaw to see Madelayne in my first pageant dress... and we look so much alike! They were definitely tears of joy! :)
Madelayne will be in her first pageant very soon and we cant wait to see how she'll do!!
